Vana
Wearables already collect more about your health than most people ever look at. The R&D brief for Vana was about the next step: how to raise the value of insights for the user, how to shape UX so the experience feels maximally seamless, and how to increase social interaction within the audience.
I explored a few directions. Insights could live in cards with interactive graphics per data type: a weekly recovery view, a longevity estimate, an update people want to share.
A 3D reconstruction from one photo makes the card feel like something worth forwarding, not a row in a table; estimated biometrics from that same photo add context Apple Health does not carry on its own. I also looked at sound as a separate track: audio for a finished insight video built from the user’s variables, not a fixed library clip.
The native iOS demo I built covered cards, Metal 3D reconstruction, and that generative audio pipeline. In parallel I explored a messenger agent for quick back-and-forth in channels people already use, without opening another app for a single answer. The templates above show insight types and how each one could be assembled.
