Hosting
The hosted website uses Netlify, Inc. Requests include technical data such as your IP address, requested page, time and browser information, used to deliver and secure the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify may process data outside the EEA; its data-processing terms include safeguards for international transfers.
Messages
The contact form processes your name, email address and message so I can reply. For a project inquiry, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other correspondence, Article 6(1)(f). These fields are required to use the form; you can also email me directly.
The contact form sends messages through Migadu-Mail GmbH. Incoming email is received through Proton Mail (Proton AG). Messages are not used for advertising or automated decisions. They are retained for the inquiry and any applicable legal retention obligations.
Browser storage and external links
This version has no added analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies. Gallery likes are saved in localStorage only after you use the Like control; they stay in your browser and can be removed through your browser settings. Local preview style settings are also stored only in that browser. Fonts, images and project video are served with the site.
Social, project, press and AI services are ordinary outgoing links. They receive a request when you open them; they are not embedded into the page. AI draft links contain public portfolio context. Anything you submit after opening a provider is governed by that provider’s policy.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@skruglov.com. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
